Susan Bowers

Susan Bowers, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Susan began their career as a Senior Auditor at the Defense Contract Audit Agency in 2007, where they gained expertise in auditing. In 2012, Susan joined the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and held various roles, including Senior Accountant, Accounting Division Director, Budget Division Director, and eventually Office Director. At NNSA, their responsibilities included managing budgets, overseeing security operations, and ensuring mission support activities. Additionally, Susan worked as an Instructor at the University of Phoenix from 2013 to 2018, teaching courses related to their field. In 2015, they also established their own business, Lil’ Miss & Mr. Designs, where they served as the Owner. Most recently, Susan embarked on a new challenge as the Deputy Division Manager at MELE Associates, Inc., before being promoted to Vice President. Throughout their career, Susan Bowers has consistently demonstrated their expertise and leadership skills in the field of accounting and management.

Susan Bowers, CPA, holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of North Florida - College of Business Administration, which they earned in 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting at the same institution between 2002 and 2007. Susan is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the State of Florida.
