Ester Abad

Ester Abad is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry with extensive experience in digital transformation and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Digital Change Management & PMO at Meliá Hotels International since September 2014, Ester has led multiple hotel openings across several countries, employing Agile and Scrum methodologies for full cycle project management. Prior roles include Project Manager and EMEA Procurement Executive, where significant contributions were made to hotel openings and rebranding initiatives across Europe and North Africa. Additionally, Ester tracks knowledge transfer by training hospitality professionals at Schôolers. Educationally, Ester holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master's degree in Hotel Management, along with a bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation, enhancing a diverse skill set valuable to the industry.
