José Ángel Martínez González

José Ángel Martínez González has worked for Meliá Hotels International since 2005. From January 2005 to March 2010, they served as the Responsible for Internal Audit, where they coordinated and supervised audit teams and scheduled audits. From April 2011 to April 2017, they were the Risk Control, Analysis & Assessment Director, responsible for establishing a risk management culture, promoting the integrated risk management model, and reporting directly to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer. Since April 2017, they have held the position of Compliance Officer & Risk Control Director.

José Ángel Martínez González completed a Diplomado en Ciencias Empresariales at the Universidad de Oviedo from 1995 to 1998. José Ángel then pursued a Licenciado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas at the Universidad de Salamanca from 1998 to 2000.
