Mario Caballero

Mario Caballero serves as the Cluster General Manager for Southern Vietnam and Phu Quoc at Meliá Hotels International since September 2014, managing over 3,500 rooms across luxury properties including Melia Vinpearl Nha Trang Empire and Melia Vinpearl Phu Quoc. Previous roles include overseeing cluster operations for Phu Quoc Island and the northern region of Vietnam, where Mario successfully led rebranding projects for multiple hotels. Earlier in the career, experience included positions at Marriott International, managing significant openings and operations at the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai. Mario holds multiple advanced degrees in Hospitality and Revenue Management from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Tourism Management from IE University.
