Melissa Gecaj, M.S., BCBA, LBA, is a seasoned Behavior Analyst currently working at Meliora Academy since 2018 and holds the position of Behavior Interventionist at Connecticut Behavioral Health since November 2015. With experience in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and creating Behavior Intervention Plans, Melissa has also contributed as a Clinical Assistant at Ices Inc, where assistance in developing behavioral programs and staff training was provided. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Saint Joseph and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University. Additionally, Melissa has experience as a Student Worker, offering support to students with disabilities, and as a Peer Mentor for college students on the Autism spectrum.
