Kara Watson

Kara Watson is a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Intern currently serving at MELISSA ISD since August 2023, with a background as a Graduate Student Clinician in Speech-Language Pathology at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation from May 2024 to August 2024, focusing on stroke and traumatic brain injury. Watson has extensive experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in various school districts, including Lovejoy ISD, Sherman ISD, Kaufman Independent School District, and Corsicana ISD, providing direct intervention for communication disorders across diverse populations. In addition, Watson has worked in home health and private clinical settings, specializing in articulation and language disorders. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University.
