Hamish Wood

Hamish Wood has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, starting their career at BSkyB in customer service before moving to IT roles. Hamish worked as a 2nd Line Desktop/Server Support at BSkyB, then transitioned to IT Manager/Consultant roles at Unitech Open Systems and Due North. Hamish later served as a Technical Consultant and Cloud Product Manager at Onyx Group and Pulsant. Most recently, they held the position of Head of Information Technology at Great Annual Savings Group before moving on to become the Head of Information Technology at Melius Cyber in 2023.

Hamish Wood's education history includes obtaining Ordinary Grades and Standard Grades from Jordanhill College School, Glasgow from 1978 to 1989. Hamish then pursued an SNC degree in Computers at Anniesland College, Glasgow from 1989 to 1991, followed by an SNC degree at Clydebank College, Glasgow from 1991 to 1992. Hamish furthered their studies by completing an HND in Computer Studies at Edinburgh Napier University from 1992 to 1994.
