David Kell

David Kell has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. David started their career as a cofounder at Gyana in 2015, where they were involved in tech, product, and go-to-market strategies for data tools. During their time at Gyana, they successfully raised £6m in funding, sold the product to over 20 enterprises including MoD, BCG, and Airbnb, built a strong community of 1,000 users, and achieved a high ranking on Product Hunt. David also led the development of a query engine and wrote approximately 100,000 lines of code. In 2022, David joined Dune as a Community Lead. In this role, they focused on viral growth, network effects, and developer relations in the crypto analytics space. David led a team of up to 10 members and reported directly to the CEO. David was also a regular speaker on decentralized science. Currently, David is working at Epoch Biodesign as a Machine Learning Engineer. David specializes in deep learning for protein prediction and focuses on designing enzymes to transform plastics into low-carbon, circular chemicals. The end date of this role is currently unknown.

David Kell attended Shrewsbury School, though the specific start and end years are unknown. After finishing their time at Shrewsbury, they enrolled at the University of Oxford, where they pursued a degree in Physics and Philosophy from 2010 to 2014.
