Ehsan Jami joined the Foundation in 2018 as a senior executive assistant to Elizabeth Alexander where she proudly serves alongside colleagues in the Office of the President supporting President Alexander and the Foundation in furthering the social justice mission.
Between 2009 and 2013, Ms. Jami worked for the America-Mideast Educational and Training Services organization in Tunisia. She taught English as a Foreign Language to adults and young learners and her work included training to teach English for International Communication preparatory courses. She also participated as a teacher and mentor in the ACCESS program, which provides micro-scholarships to young learners from disadvantaged communities in the Greater Tunis area funded by the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. She has eight years of experience in the administrative support space as a former executive assistant and compliance analyst at CIFC Asset Management LLC and as an executive assistant at The Carlyle Group.
Ms. Jami holds a bachelor of liberal arts from the City College of New York-CUNY with a major in history and a minor in French, and a master of arts degree from Hunter College-CUNY in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
