Mellon Foundation
Laura Kim joined the Foundation in 2022 as a portfolio manager. She works with the chief investment officer to manage the Foundation's investment portfolio across asset classes with a focus on private investments, including buyouts and venture capital. Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Kim was an investment manager at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center covering all asset classes for the long-term investment pool and overseeing the short-term investment pool and pension portfolio. She also worked at the Harvard Management Company as an assistant vice president. Ms. Kim holds a BS in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. She is a CFA charterholder.
