Matthias Thiele

Matthias Thiele has accumulated extensive experience in engineering, particularly within the automotive sector. Currently serving as a Development and Test Engineer at Mellow Boards GmbH since May 2016, Matthias is involved in the establishment and advancement of startup operations, software function development, mechanical component design, prototype construction, and the implementation of testing rigs. Prior to this role, Matthias completed a Master’s thesis at Mellow Boards GmbH, focusing on the development and commissioning of a test rig for evaluating electric motors and small electric vehicles. Additional experience includes a part-time position at Pininfarina Deutschland GmbH, contributing to body development and integration, and a tenure at BMW Group, where work focused on the development of vehicle body structures. Matthias holds a Master of Science in Vehicle Mechatronics from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Engineering in Vehicle System Engineering from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
