Joanna McNally

Joanna McNally is the SVP of Licensing and Strategy at MelodyVR. Joanna has over fifteen years of experience in the music industry, working in Business Development, Licensing, and Strategy.

Joanna started their career at PRS for Music, where they worked for four years as a Music Licensing Agent. Joanna then moved to Microsoft, where they worked in Business Development for the Media & Entertainment Group for one year and seven months. After Microsoft, Joanna took a position at Spotify as the Director and Head of Partner Licensing. Joanna was with Spotify for four years and eleven months before moving to their current role at MelodyVR.

At MelodyVR, Joanna is responsible for global music licensing and strategy. In their role, they work with major publishers and other European collection societies to ensure that the rights of MelodyVR’s members are represented and valued correctly throughout all markets. Joanna also assists in strategic projects to improve and develop all aspects of Pan European Licensing.

Joanna McNally has a BA in Creative Arts from Macquarie University. Joanna majored in music and graduated in 2007.
