Francois Xavier Leblanc is an accomplished Set Designer and 3D Artist at MELS since June 2017, focusing on the design of film sets and props for various major productions, while also specializing in 3D modeling software and fabrication technologies. As a Freelance Designer since March 2014, Francois provides services in architecture, art installations, and set design. Noteworthy achievements include winning the International Garden Festival in 2014 and the best prototype at Startup Weekend Montreal in 2015. Previous positions include Applied Design Researcher at LIPHE, where Francois managed design projects involving digital fabrication technologies, and Lecturer at McGill University and Université de Montréal, teaching digital modeling and fabrication techniques.
