Suzanna Kang is the General Counsel of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), a trade association representing the $422 billion U.S. consumer technology industry, which supports more than 18 million U.S. jobs. CTA has member companies of every size and specialty in the technology industry and a Board consisting of representatives from Google, Facebook, IBM, Voxx, T-Mobile, Microsoft, Sony, and Panasonic. In her role as General Counsel, Suzanna leads CTA’s legal, compliance, contracts, commercial transactions, litigation, and risk assessment functions. She joined CTA from Cisco Systems, Inc., where she served as a senior counsel, advising the supply chain organization as part of the business solutions group and the sales teams serving the largest U.S. service providers. Prior to her time at Cisco, Suzanna worked in private practice specializing in corporate and commercial transactions. She also served in the federal government at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and House of Representatives. Suzanna received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She is licensed to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia and is a member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (DC).
