Edward Ko

Edward Ko has worked in a variety of roles in the fields of engineering and logistics. In 2020, they became a Co-Founder at Mely.ai - Intelligent Document Processing for Logistics, where they work to accelerate digitalization in the transportation and logistics sector. In 2019, they were a Project Performance & Operational Excellence Manager at SNC-Lavalin, where they built a corporate Operational Excellence department and drove a culture change towards a lean continuous improvement environment. In 2017, they were a Continuous Improvement Manager at Delmar International Inc. From 2011 to 2017, they were an Engineering Project Manager at Sensio Inc. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Design Engineer at GE, where they demonstrated strong analytical skills and used Lean Six Sigma techniques to solve design and production problems.

Edward Ko obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Practicum from McGill University between 2004 and 2009. In 2017, they earned an International Transportation and Trade certification from the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA). In 2011, they became an Associate Value Specialist from SAVE International. In 2012, they obtained a Senior Engineer Permit from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. In 2015, they earned a Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification from Movement Québecois de la Qualité. In 2017, they received a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, they obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence Project Management, Big Data and AI Decoding Ethical and Legal Issues, and Inbound Marketing from the École des dirigeants HEC Montréal. In 2021, they received certifications in Ascension Program for Executives, Big Data and Data Governance, and The Business Analyst: Partner in Digital Transformation from the same institution. Finally, they earned a Master of Engineering in International Project Management from the École de technologie supérieure between 2018 and 2020.
