Tina Karisch

Tina Karisch has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Director of Manufacturing at Melzi Corporation since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the same company as a Manufacturing/Clinical Engineer from April 2020 to February 2021.

Before joining Melzi Corporation, Tina worked as a Consultant at Altran Deutschland S.A.S. & Co. KG from October 2016 to March 2020.

Tina also held the role of Project Manager Obsolescence and Change Coordinator at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG from October 2016 to September 2019, where they managed obsolescence processes and coordinated lifecycle management for a medical device company specialized in surgical microscopes.

Additionally, Tina worked as a Research Associate at BIOTRONIK from February 2015 to November 2015, and as an Internship Trainee at Vincent Systems GmbH from June 2014 to November 2014, where they gained insights into the development of hand prostheses and conducted test procedures for the vibrotactile feedback system.

Finally, Tina worked as a Student Assistant at Universität zu Lübeck from April 2010 to September 2013.

Tina Karisch obtained their Master of Science degree in Medical Engineering Science from Universität zu Lübeck, where they studied from 2009 to 2015. During their studies, they also attended Instituto Politécnico do Porto from 2013 to 2014 to pursue another Master of Science degree in the same field. In September 2020, Tina obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
