Brandon started their career as a Student Assistant at Southern Polytechnic State University, where they developed tools to streamline workflows and worked on special projects within the Computer Science department.
After completing their studies, Brandon joined Agentek, Inc. as a Java Developer and IT contractor. Their responsibilities included developing software in Java, maintaining and managing IT systems and servers, and testing handheld devices and software.
In 2011, Brandon joined Sizmek (formerly MediaMind) as a Custom Tool Developer and QA Manager. Brandon developed software to increase the efficiency of the outsourced team, designed and developed test plans in collaboration with Client Services, and ensured reliable results through rigorous testing.
Brandon then worked at BBDO Atlanta as a Javascript Developer and QA Specialist. Their skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and various frameworks like React, Redux, and Vue.js were utilized for mobile app development, QA, and frontend development.
Currently, Brandon is working at MemberClicks as a Team Lead (Sr Software Engineer). Brandon leads the development team for the company's LMS product, utilizing PHP (Symfony) and React. Brandon aims to enhance the frontend with modern technologies and transition to a REST-oriented/microservices approach.
