Jesse Schwamb

Jesse Schwamb, CFA has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Jesse currently holds the position of Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis at Members 1st Federal Credit Union, where they oversee the financial planning and analysis function. Jesse is responsible for managing institutional asset-liability management, interest rate risk, and branch and product profitability for the credit union, which has $7 billion in assets. Jesse also coordinates the management of financial risks inherent in financial intermediation and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Prior to their current role, Jesse served as the Assistant Vice President, Asset-Liability and Financial Analysis at Members 1st Federal Credit Union. In this position, they oversaw institutional asset-liability management and developed and implemented structural interest rate and liquidity risk analytics. Jesse advised the Board of Directors, senior management, and regulatory agencies on risk-reward opportunities and exposures, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.

Before joining Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Jesse held various roles at Messiah University, PNC, and Fleet Bank. At Messiah University, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor of Economics and Finance, where they instructed undergraduate students on money, markets, and financial institutions. At PNC and Fleet Bank, they served as a Licensed Financial Sales Consultant and an Investment Representative & Consumer Sales Specialist, respectively. In these roles, they were responsible for prospecting and recruiting new clients, developing financial plans, and selling suitable investment products.

Jesse Schwamb, CFA has a Master of Science degree in Finance (MSF) from Penn State University, obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Jesse earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Management from the University of Phoenix, achieved from 2004 to 2006. Jesse also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Business with a minor in Economics from Messiah University, earned between 1998 and 2002. Additionally, Jesse attended the International Business Institute in 2001 to study Business and Economics. Jesse has acquired the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 2023. In 2015, Jesse obtained certification as a Certified Credit Union Investments Professional (CCUIP) from CUNA -- Credit Union National Association.
