Matthew Christen

Matthew Christen serves as the Chief Joy Officer at Philadelphia Steaks and Hoagies Harrisburg, where culinary excellence and customer joy are central to the mission. Concurrently, Matthew is the Lead STAR Networking & Communication Mentor and Principal Project Manager at Members 1st Federal Credit Union, promoting successful communication cycles and agile project management. As a part-time corporate faculty member at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, Matthew teaches project management methodologies. Further leadership development was pursued through a Leadership Cumberland Fellowship, which included a board internship at Safe Harbour, Inc. Matthew's extensive experience spans roles such as Senior Project Manager and Scrum Master at Foot Locker, Technical Project Manager at e&e IT Consulting Services, and previous positions at TransCore and Target Systems, complemented by a strong academic background, including an MBA focused on Organizational Management from Eastern University and dual degrees in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.
