Melissa Paulsen began their work experience as a General Manager at APCOA/Standard Parking in 1999, where they managed the daily operations of three parking garages. Melissa then moved on to MASCO, Inc. as the Manager of Parking and Transportation in 2000, where they oversaw transportation services and liaised with member parking offices. Melissa then worked as a Catalog Manager at GetConnected, Inc from 2000 to 2007, where they aggregated and controlled data, implemented website and UI improvements, and led to increased sales and efficiency. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Project Manager at MembersFirst, coordinating website redesigns and implementations and facilitating communication between internal resources and clients. Melissa then worked as a Homemaker from 2003 until 2007. In 2011, they became a Substitute Teacher at Assumption Catholic School. In 2015, Melissa started their own business called Seeds for Healing with Melissa Paulsen, where they worked as a Reiki Master. In 2016, they became an Independent Consultant at Rodan + Fields, partnering with independent business owners to bring innovations in anti-aging skincare. Melissa Paulsen received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology, Social Rehabilitation & Education from Assumption University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they attended Framingham State University from 1996 to 1997, focusing on Elementary Education and Teaching. Prior to their college education, Melissa attended King Philip Regional High School from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Reiki Master certification in August 2014, although the institution from which they obtained this certification is unknown.
