Shannon Shih has over a decade of work experience in the hospitality industry. Starting in 2009, Shannon began their career at Hillstone Restaurant Group, working their way up from Culinary Manager in Training to Executive General Manager. During their time at Hillstone, Shannon successfully managed a three-concept casual fine dining restaurant, overseeing a team of 150 employees and generating a monthly revenue of $1.2 million. They implemented innovative process improvements, leading to a sales increase of over $100k per month. Shannon also developed and implemented Covid-19 procedures to ensure a safe and positive workplace. In 2022, Shannon joined Next Door Restaurant Group as the Interim Director of Operations and later became the Director of New Restaurant Operations. Currently, Shannon holds the position of Director of Culture & Hospitality at Memento Mori Hospitality.
Shannon Shih obtained a Certificate in Classic Culinary Arts from the Institute of Culinary Education in 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UCLA in 2008. Shannon also holds a certification in ServSafe Food Handler from the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Instructor, although the date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
