Tyler Hoffman

Co-Founder & VP, Developer Experience at Memfault

Tyler Hoffman is an accomplished software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in embedded systems and developer tools. As a co-founder and Head of Developer Experience at Memfault since December 2018, Tyler focuses on delivering solutions for firmware delivery, monitoring, and diagnostics for hardware and embedded device companies. Prior roles include serving as an Embedded Software Engineer at Fitbit, where Tyler led the Firmware Developer Productivity team and contributed to the creation of the Fitbit Javascript SDK, and engineering positions at Pebble Tech, Qualcomm, and Cerner Corporation. Tyler also has a background in academia, having designed and instructed a programming course at Purdue University and served as a teaching assistant. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University and participated in the Y Combinator startup accelerator program in 2019.
