Joan Zapata

Joan Zapata has been working in the technology industry since 2011. Joan began their career at eBusiness Information as a Java, Backend, and Android Developer. In 2014, they moved to Redmill Lab as an Android Tech Lead. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at JCDecaux in a similar role. Most recently, they have been a Software Engineer at Memo Bank since 2017. While at JCDecaux, they designed and developed multiple applications for the Livetouch platform, including an application launcher, Twitter application, and RSS flux application.

Joan Zapata obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Systèmes informatiques, logiciels et réseaux from Polytech Nantes between 2008 and 2011. Joan also obtained a certification in Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera in December 2013 and is currently pursuing a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera.
