Troy Pepperman has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Troy began their career in 1992, serving in the US Army as an SPC, CO Driver, and Unit Armorer until 1995. Following their military service, Troy worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Coastal Rehabilitation-Bay St. Louis from 2000 to 2003. Troy then joined Hancock Medical, where they held various positions such as Director of Rehabilitation Services, Director of Practice Management, and Executive Director of Hancock Medical Health Services. In 2013, Troy moved to Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, where they served as a Practice Manager and eventually became the Director of Clinic Operations.
Troy Pepperman holds a Master's Degree in Sport Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi, which they obtained from 1999 to 2000. Troy also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Injury Management from the University of South Alabama, which they completed between 1995 and 1998.

Memorial Health System is a not-for-profit healthcare system jointly owned by the City of Gulfport and Harrison County.
