Robert Ellison

System Administrator, Business Development & Governmental Affairs at Memorial Health

Robert Ellison assumed the role of system administrator, business development and governmental affairs, for Memorial Health in 2019. In this capacity, he is responsible for business development, strategic planning and governmental affairs of the health system. He provides support and assistance in financial planning, resource allocation and market analysis to both hospital and ambulatory affiliates. Additionally, he leads market outreach efforts, volunteer services, community services and community benefit.

Ellison began his career at Memorial in 2011 as an administrative fellow. He holds a bachelor’s degree in community health with a concentration in health administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from St. Louis University School of Public Health. He has served on the boards of directors of Downtown Springfield, Inc., and Prairieland United Way.
