Denise Diaz

Denise Diaz is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Purdue University Global since December 2024, where responsibilities include educating and mentoring nursing students. Diaz has held the position of Neurosurgical APRN-DNP at Memorial Healthcare System since January 2016, and previously worked as an RN in Trauma, Neurosurgical, & Surgical ICU at Memorial Regional Hospital from January 2005 to January 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Critical Care RN at Hollywood Medical Center and as an LPN at Palmetto General Hospital. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Nova Southeastern University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Florida Atlantic University and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Miami Dade College. Training as a Licensed Practical Nurse was completed through the United States Army.
