Edward Peterson

Edward Peterson currently serves as the Vice President of Laboratories at Memorial Healthcare System since October 2019 and has held an adjunct faculty position at Rutgers University since September 2002, teaching Health Care Regulations and Laboratory Management courses. Prior to their current role, Edward worked at Piedmont Healthcare as Executive Director of Laboratory Services, overseeing a network of eleven hospitals in Georgia. Edward's extensive experience includes serving as Director of Laboratories at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where responsibilities spanned multiple laboratory disciplines and significant budget management, and as Executive Director of the Department of Pathology Laboratory Medicine at WellStar Health System. Previous roles also include various directorial positions at Shore Memorial Hospital, focusing on regulatory affairs and laboratory management. Edward earned an MBA from Saint Joseph's University, a certification in Medical Technology from Lenox Hill Hospital, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Medical Technology from SUNY College at Fredonia.
