Colleen Black

Colleen Black has extensive experience in health information management, currently serving as the Director of Medical Records at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System since January 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing inpatient rehabilitation medical record coding and outpatient rehabilitation coding for multiple facilities. Previously, Colleen held various leadership roles at TIRR Memorial Hermann for nearly three decades, including Director of the Medical Record department and Executive Director, actively contributing to the hospital's executive management team. Colleen's career began at Shore Health System as a Medical Record Administrator and progressed through a series of increasingly responsible positions. Colleen holds a Certificate in Medical and Healthcare Management from Rice University and completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Richard Stockton State College.
