Collin McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Collin started their career at PacifiCare Behavioral Health in 1999 as an Associate Project Coordinator, where they successfully wrote the NCQA Pre-Assessment Survey, leading to full accreditation. In 2003, they joined LA BioMed as a Management Services Officer III, taking on various responsibilities such as developing quality improvement metrics for multiple medical departments and coordinating with IT and SAS programmers. Collin also served as a course coordinator for the David Geffen School of Medicine. In 2014, Collin became the Practice Administrator at Pacific Pelvic Pain Center, before eventually joining Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in 2016 as Director of Quality Improvement and Compliance Officer.

Collin McDonald has a strong education background with various degrees and certifications. Collin attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Collin then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Political Management from the George Washington University, graduating in 1995. Continuing their education, Collin attended the Ohio State University from 1996 to 1998, where they earned a Master of Health Care Administration degree, specializing in Health Care Administration.

In addition to their degrees, Collin McDonald has a certification in healthcare quality. Collin obtained the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification in September 2014 from the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
