Bahar Abbasi

Bahar Abbasi has been working in the medical field since 2019, when they began their role as an Ultrasound Technologist at Memorial Hermann Health System. In 2021, they moved to Memorial MRI and Diagnostic, where they served as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Currently, Bahar is employed as an Ultrasound Technologist at Westchase Imaging. Prior to their medical career, they worked as a Retail Sales Specialist at Walgreens from 2010 to 2019.

Bahar Abbasi is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Texas A&M University. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate of Science - AS from Houston Community College and a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from Islamic Azad University. Bahar also holds an Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Sonographer and Ultrasound Technician from Pima Medical Institute. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen (RDMS) from ARDMS, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from American Heart Association, Sonographic Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) from ARDMS, and patient Safety from Pima Medical Institute.
