Gail B. Katz

Gail B. Katz is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in risk management, patient safety, and compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Risk Management, Patient Safety and Compliance at Memorial Regional Health since December 2018, Gail has a distinguished background as a Legal Nurse Consultant since 1991, providing expert reviews and consultations in legal contexts. Previous leadership roles include interim Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Risk Management at various healthcare facilities, where Gail implemented evidence-based initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff empowerment. An educator, Gail served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, teaching nursing students in various subjects, and has contributed to simulation program development at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
