Amit Sharma

Amit Sharma is an experienced software engineering professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Associate Director of Software Engineering at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since 2021, Amit previously held various roles within the same institution from 2010 to 2020, including Senior Manager and Team Lead. Earlier positions include Programmer Analyst at State University of New York and Research Assistant at MCEER, University at Buffalo. Amit’s expertise encompasses designing web-based systems, most notably a training management system and a contract processing system, as well as creating a library database that significantly reduced maintenance costs. Amit holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
