Harini Veeraraghavan

Harini Veeraraghavan is an experienced computer scientist currently serving as an Associate Attending Computer Scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since August 2012. Prior to this role, Harini held positions as an Assistant Attending Computer Scientist and Computer Vision Scientist at GE Global Research from January 2008 to May 2012, focusing on computer vision algorithms for intelligent video surveillance and medical imaging applications. Harini also engaged in research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University from September 2006 to May 2008, working on AI planning and learning from demonstration in robotics and web services. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Senior Software Developer at Banner Engineering in 2006, specializing in Machine Vision-based products, and completion of a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota from January 2000 to January 2006, following a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra.
