Ingrid Valencia Lozano

Ingrid Valencia Lozano is a medical physicist with extensive experience in research and clinical applications. Currently serving as a Medical Physics Resident and Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since July 2021, Ingrid has previously held positions as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital, focusing on multi-layer electronic portal imaging devices and radiation oncology. Ingrid earned a PhD in Health/Medical Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and completed a certificate program in Medical Physics at Harvard Medical School. Additional experiences include roles as a Product Specialist Junior and educator, highlighting strong technical communication and teaching skills.
