Katie Barr

Katie Barr, MA, CFRE, currently serves as a Giving Officer in Leadership Giving at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, having advanced from the position of Coordinator in Leadership Annual Giving since May 2022. Previously, Katie held the role of Development Assistant at the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science from September 2020 to May 2022 and worked as a Program Assistant and Assistant to the CEO at the American Society of the University of Haifa from March 2020 to September 2020. Additionally, Katie has experience from Lehigh University, serving as a Program Environment Coordinator and Project Mentor for the Global Village for Future Leaders, as well as a Community Fellow and Research Assistant in the Center for Community Engagement between May 2017 and August 2019. Early experience includes working as an English Teaching Assistant at Papageno Elementary School and as a Course Planning Assistant at the University of Tübingen. Katie Barr earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and German and a Master of Arts in Sociology with concentrations in Nonprofit Management and Immigration Studies from Lehigh University.
