Dianne Keeping is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Dean of Libraries at Memorial University of Newfoundland since January 2022. Prior to this role, Dianne was the University Librarian at Mount Allison University from August 2019 to December 2021 and held various positions at Mount Royal University, including Manager of Library Collections. Dianne's extensive background at Memorial University includes roles as Collection Development Librarian, Acting Head of the Collection Development Division, and Metadata Cataloguer. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Consultant for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and as an Informatics Instructor at the College of the North Atlantic. Dianne's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioarchaeology and Palaeopathology from the University of Bradford, a Master of Library & Information Science from Dalhousie University, and a BA (Hons.) in Anthropology and History from Memorial University.
