Chantal Hassard

VP, Team Operations & Player Programs at Memphis Grizzlies

Chantal Hassard enters her 26th season with the Grizzlies organization and fifth as vice president of team operations and player programs. An original member of the franchise’s basketball operations department, Hassard has worked closely with each head coach since the Grizzlies’ inaugural season in 1995 in Vancouver.

Expanding from her previous roles as director of team services and director of team operations, Hassard manages the Grizzlies’ administration systems and development and serves as the team’s player development representative, providing Grizzlies players with educational programs and critical support services. She also ensures team-related activities are arranged and maintains on- and off-court community initiatives.

Prior to joining the Grizzlies, Hassard began her sports career in 1993 as the team operations assistant for the NHL’s Vancouver

Canucks.

Hassard supports the National Bone Marrow Donor Program and animal welfare organizations. She also serves as a member of

the NBA’s steering committee on player development.
