Sharica S. Ware

Sharica S. Ware, MTA, CAE, serves as the Senior Director of Development and Communications at Monroe Harding, Inc. since September 2023 and has been the Volunteer and Engagement Coordinator at Memphis Public Library since October 2018. Ware has extensive experience in volunteer management and public relations, having held roles such as Chapter Relations Manager at the American Public Works Association and Regional Volunteer Services Lead Specialist at the American Red Cross. Previous positions include Director of Volunteer Services and Special Events at The Salvation Army, Owner/Creative Director of Social Butterfly PR and Event Group, Program Event Manager for Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, and Director of Public Relations for Nashville Black Business Expo, LLC. Ware possesses a Master’s degree in Tourism Administration with a focus on Event Management and Marketing from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Tennessee State University.
