Lillian Lammers

Adjunct Faculty at Memphis Theological Seminary

Lillian Lammers is an experienced pastor and educator currently serving as the Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Memphis since March 2023 and as Adjunct Faculty at Memphis Theological Seminary since January 2020. Prior roles include Associate Pastor at First Congregational Church UCC in Memphis from June 2020 to December 2022, and SPAN Program Coordinator at The Association of Theological Schools from July 2021 to May 2022. Lammers has a strong background in stewardship and vocational planning as the Director of Stewardship and Vocational Planning at Vanderbilt University Divinity School from March 2014 to May 2020, and experience as a Bereavement Coordinator/Chaplain at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from February 2010 to March 2014. Lammers also served in various academic and leadership roles at institutions such as Cornell University, Baldwin Wallace University, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Ministry from Andover Newton, a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Science from the University of Tennessee, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Denver.
