Ashley J. Nickas

Ashley J. Nickas is an experienced professional in the arts and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as both Education Coordinator and Special Event Coordinator at Memphis Zoo since April 2023, Ashley also holds positions as a server at Crosstown Brewing Company, LLC and a barista at Cafe127. Previous experience includes significant roles at Actors' Equity Association as a Stage Manager and at Theatre Memphis as the Director of Stage Management and Volunteers, among others. Notable past engagements include leading membership engagement at Germantown Athletic Club and working as a virtual babysitter. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Video Production with a minor in Theatre from The University of Memphis and has foundational training in Electronic Media Communication Production from Middle Tennessee State University.
