Beth Roberts

Beth Roberts is a Research Scientist in the Research and Conservation Department at the Memphis Zoo and specializes in reproductive endocrinology, gamete biology, and cryobiology research. She manages the ongoing giant panda, African elephant, and snow leopard reproductive hormone monitoring at the zoo, investigates pregnancy-specific hormone markers in carnivores, and is characterizing seasonal changes in Eastern indigo snake reproductive endocrinology. In addition to endocrinology, she interested in reptile conservation and is working on sperm collection, characterization, and long-term sperm storage techniques for Louisiana pine snakes.
