Olivia Barnett

Olivia Barnett is an experienced individual pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Rhodes College. Currently serving as a Husbandry Technician Intern at Memphis Zoo, Olivia has held leadership roles including President of the Veterinary Professions Society and Honor Council Secretary at Rhodes College. Additional experiences include mentoring first-year students through the Multicultural Vision Program, coaching middle school chess, and working as a Veterinary Assistant at Spay Memphis, where hands-on care and surgical assistance were provided. Prior internships include natural history research at the Memphis Museum of Science & History, a Summer Externship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and volunteer outreach at Memphis Animal Services, where skills in animal care and community engagement were developed.
