Luis Azevedo

Luis Azevedo has a wealth of experience in product management, engineering, and founding. Luis currently holds the role of Senior Product Owner at Memrise, a position they began in 2021. Prior to this, they were a Product Manager at McLaren Applied from 2016 to 2021, where they were responsible for product roadmap definition, working with technical and business teams to identify data insights, defining requirements and user stories, liaising with programme management and engineering, and managing customer feedback. Before that, they were a Systems Engineer / Senior Systems Engineer at McLaren Applied from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they were a Co-Founder of WiseCrop from 2012 to 2016.

Luis Azevedo completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Hull from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Computers Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2007 to 2012.
