Elvira Luongo

Elvira Luongo has a background in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology, with experience in research and development in various companies and academic institutions. Currently, Elvira holds a position as AD Specialist at Menarini Biotech, where Elvira is involved in analytical development. Prior to this, Elvira worked at CONSIGLIO NAZIONALE DELLE RICERCHE-ISTITUTO DI CHIMICA DELLE BIOMOLECOLE, focusing on the extraction, purification, and characterization of secondary metabolites from marine organisms. Elvira also has experience in the exploitation of algal biomass for energy production. Elvira's research interests include the design and synthesis of prodrugs for improved pharmacokinetic and pharmacological profiles.
