Federica Canella

Federica Canella is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in the biomedical sector. Currently employed at Menarini Silicon Biosystems since October 2022, Federica previously contributed to ALTEN Italia as an R&D Software Engineer in the Life Science area from June 2018 to October 2022, focusing on software development for medical devices and requirements specification. Prior roles include Software Engineer in the R&D division at Nikkiso Belgium bvba from September 2016 to June 2018, and R&D system and software development at BELLCO S.r.l from April 2012 to July 2016, specifically in hemodialysis software/firmware development. Federica holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and has also received recognition as an award winner of the "Silvio Cavalcanti" II Ed contest at the XXXI Scuola Annuale del Gruppo Nazionale di Bioingegneria.
