Ignacio Gonzalez Casteleiro is an accomplished executive in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in managerial roles. Currently serving as General Manager at Menarini España since July 2019, Ignacio previously held the position of General Manager for Iberia at Takeda from June 2013 to June 2019. Ignacio's career at Takeda also includes roles as Head of Hospital Business Franchise focusing on Marketing & Product Portfolio Strategy for the EU and Canada, and General Manager for the Spain Start-up. Prior to Takeda, Ignacio was the Business Unit Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb, managing Oncology, HIV & Hepatitis, and Immunology. Early in the career, Ignacio worked at Eli Lilly and Company, progressing from Iberia Business Unit Manager in Critical Care Europe to Global Marketing Associate in Diabetes & Osteoporosis.
