Jason Wilson has had a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Jason co-founded Mendaera, Inc. in 2020 and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that, Jason worked at Cruise from 2018 to 2020 as part of the AV Robotics team, where they led teams of robotics engineers in developing and deploying autonomous vehicle software.
From 2016 to 2018, Jason worked at Auris Health, Inc., first as a Staff Systems Analyst and later as the Manager of Systems Engineering, Advanced Development. Before that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Vantage Surgical Systems Inc. from 2011 to 2016.
In terms of academia, Jason has experience at UCLA, where they worked as a Lecturer in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department in 2014 and as a Visiting Researcher from 2013 to 2013. Jason also worked as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA from 2008 to 2011.
Jason Wilson has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Jason obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA between 2002 and 2005. Jason then pursued further studies at UCLA and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2005 to 2007. Jason went on to achieve a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, studying from 2007 to 2011.
