Alan Warren graduated with a degree in Physics from Portsmouth University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Alan took up research fellowships with universities and industry, where he developed computer simulations of magnetization processes in magnetic storage media. Later, he transferred into the IT industry as a software developer. He has worked for many organizations, both private and public sectors, in the UK and abroad.
