Marcin Pasinski

Marcin Pasinski has over 14 years of work experience in software engineering. In 2006, they began working as a Software Engineer for RENA Höllmüller GmbH, where they were involved in designing and developing SCADA applications for visualization and maintaining of industrial process in InTouch 9.5 and 10.0. In 2008, they joined Teleca as a Software Engineer, where they worked in mobile software development area, taking part in software development for mobile devices and smart phones mostly for NOKIA and RIM devices (C, C++, Symbian OS, Qt). In 2010, they moved to McAfee as a Leading Engineer and Scrum Master. In 2013, they joined Archer Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, taking part in introducing and maintaining software development process (TDD, continuous integration, version control, quality and complexity measurement, performance analysis). In 2014, they began working for CFEngine, Inc. as a Team and Project Lead and Scrum Master, where they worked on improving software development process and defining good software development, testing and deployment practices. In 2015, they joined Mender as a Software Architect, where they architected and built the first iteration of Mender and worked as a hands-on Go developer of OTA updater for embedded Linux devices. In 2014, they joined Northern.tech as Head of Strategic Projects, Head Of Engineering, Marketing Owner, and Engineering Process Owner/Lead Software Engineer. As Head Of Engineering, they were responsible for defining and managing the process within the organization, making sure it is actively adjusted to help the teams achieve the best performance and the process clarity. As Marketing Owner, they were responsible for guiding a marketing team by owning the marketing strategy and tactics.

Marcin Pasinski obtained an MSc in Electronics and Telecommunications from Lodz University of Technology between 2002 and 2008. In December 2014, they were certified as a Scrum Product Owner by the Scrum Alliance.
