Assistant Superintendent at MENDON-UPTON SCHOOL DISTRICT

Cheryl Kirkpatrick currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent at Mendon-Upton School District, focusing on enhancing teaching and learning for both students and staff since October 2021. Previously, Cheryl held the position of Interim Assistant Superintendent of Schools at Chelmsford Public Schools and was the Director of Personnel and Professional Learning, where services and programs were developed to support educators' well-being and engagement from August 2016 to December 2021. Additional experience includes roles at Lowell Public Schools as Coordinator for Leadership Support & Development, Boston Public Schools as Senior Advisor for Human Capital, and earlier positions as a Strategic Data Fellow and Research Assistant. Cheryl's educational background includes a Doctor of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Brown University, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Dartmouth College.
